Résumé

How do cross-border collaboration dynamics and structural knowledge networks shape the global research domain of social justice, health equity, and inclusive education?

This study examines the structural architecture, intellectual foundations, and cross-border collaboration dynamics governing global scientific production within the specific field of social justice, health equity, and inclusive education.

By analyzing a comprehensive corpus retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus databases spanning the period 1994 to 2025 using a standardized boolean search string (N = 1,387 publications), we evaluate the evolutionary trajectory of research networks, institutional partnerships, and conceptual clusters.

Through rigorous co-citation analysis, keyword co-occurrence modeling, and thematic decomposition, the underlying intellectual traditions and emerging frontiers within the field are delineated. The findings reveal a highly centralized collaboration topology dominated by North American and European research hubs, alongside rapidly expanding scientific networks in Asia-Pacific and the Global South. Furthermore, the intellectual structure is characterized by distinct thematic pillars that bridge foundational theoretical paradigms with contemporary methodological innovations.
