Abstract

Today, the role of human capital in the dynamics of competitiveness is no longer in question. Many companies have built their crisis exit plan on their human capital. Human resource management is, therefore, at the center of the economic system, responsible for the asset that regenerates all the others. It is time for the HR function to move beyond its technical and administrative role to become a strategic partner, contributing, in the same way as the others, to the company's economic and social results.

The implementation of an HRIS is a necessity, as it improves the quality of HR processes and their speed of execution. As a result, HR performance will contribute to the improvement of the company's performance.

This article focuses on the impact of HRIS on the economic performance of large Moroccan companies. The objective is to present an econometric model to examine the influence of HRIS on HR performance and to measure its impact on the economic performance of large Moroccan companies.

The literature review identified several positive impacts of HRIS on performance. To this end, we adopted a theoretical approach (hypothetical-deductive) to build our conceptual research model. At the end of a quantitative study (survey by questionnaire) carried out with a sample of 57 large Moroccan companies, a series of analyses was carried out using statistical processing software.

The results obtained allowed to confirm the positive impact of HRIS on economic performance and on HR performance which is a mediator variable between the HRIS and economic performance.
