Internal communication is a strategic management lever that can improve human resource performance by facilitating information flow, activity coordination, employee engagement, and the quality of professional relationships. Despite the extensive literature on organizational communication and its effects on employee behavior and performance, empirical research on private security companies remains limited, particularly in the Malian context. This study aims to analyze the mechanisms through which internal communication influences human resource performance within EAGLE EYE-SARL. It adopts an interpretivist epistemological stance and a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews conducted with fifteen participants, including administrative managers, operational managers, supervisors, and security officers. The collected data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The findings show that downward communication facilitates the understanding and implementation of work instructions, while horizontal communication promotes team coordination and cooperation among employees. Digital tools, particularly WhatsApp groups and telephone calls, contribute to accelerating the dissemination of operational information. However, upward communication remains insufficiently structured, limiting feedback mechanisms between security officers and managers. The study also reveals that improved information flow contributes to strengthening employee motivation, sense of belonging, and operational effectiveness. Finally, the study proposes recommendations aimed at improving internal communication practices and, consequently, human resource performance in private security companies in Mali.
