Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive quantitative and structural evaluation of global research at the intersection of educational systems, social inclusion, and social well-being. Despite growing scholarship on equitable pedagogy, existing literature lacks a unified bibliometric synthesis that simultaneously integrates multi-decade performance metrics, co-occurrence network architectures, and global collaboration dynamics on this specific thematic nexus. To bridge this gap, we execute a multi-layered bibliometric analysis on a core corpus of 1,842 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 1985 and 2024, retrieved from the Scopus database. The findings reveal a marked transition from early, fragmented clinical frameworks to an integrated socio-pedagogical paradigm. Contemporary literature increasingly positions educational environments and teaching professionals as structural anchors for social equity and psychological resilience. Macro-structural performance metrics demonstrate a sharp publication acceleration (expanding at an annual growth rate of 11.42%, with an average of 18.65 citations per document), supported by a core-periphery global collaboration architecture (international co-authorship rate of 24.15%) centered on North American and European hubs.

Classification JEL: I21; I24; I31; I38; I14.
