Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on economic growth in Morocco over a long period. Using an econometric approach based on time series, including stationarity tests and ARDL modeling, the study examines the dynamic relationship between FDI flows and real GDP. The results highlight the existence of both long-term and short-term relationships between FDI and economic growth, suggesting that FDI constitutes a strategic lever for Morocco's economic development. However, its impact is highly dependent on the quality of institutions and the level of trade openness.
