Given the renewed interest in the social dimension of business, it seems appropriate to shed light on managerial practices that mobilize human resources within the framework of corporate societal engagement. In this context, the present study consists of a bibliometric analysis aiming to explore scientific trends related to the mobilization of human resources in companies committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The objective is to identify the dominant themes linking CSR to Human Resource Management (HRM), to analyze the temporal evolution of publications, to map the most active authors, institutions, and journals, and to explain how bibliometric analysis has shaped the nature of research between 2015 and 2025.
This study is based on a scientific literature review using the Web of Science databases for data collection. A final sample of 882 articles was analyzed. The visualization of the scientific landscape was performed using the VOSviewer software.
The results of this bibliometric study reveal a progressive organization of research around CSR and human resource mobilization, reflecting the growing volume of global scientific production in this field. Notably, recent publications highlight a strong link between corporate societal engagement and HR strategies. CSR is thus no longer perceived as a peripheral initiative but rather as a strategic lever in human capital management. These findings emphasize the need to contextualize such research locally to address the limited scientific output from Morocco and to encourage the national economic landscape to adopt more socially responsible practices.
