Abstract
Logistics, as a cross-functional activity within companies, plays a strategic role and exerts a significant influence on organizational performance, making its optimization essential. Managerial innovations in logistics appear to be a key lever for improving this function. This communication adopts a knowledge synthesis approach to address the following question: “How have managerial innovations adopted by companies supported the optimization and performance of logistics processes??? The analysis reveals that such innovations contribute to the implementation of efficient, integrated, transparent, and competitive supply chains. Moreover, these practices aim not only to enhance customer satisfaction and create value for stakeholders, but also to reduce the environmental impact of logistics activities, thus promoting sustainable development. The adopted methodology is based on an integrative literature approach, enabling the collection, evaluation, and synthesis of existing research on managerial innovations applied to logistics.
