Morocco's insertion in Sub-Saharan Africa: A qualitative approach
Abstract
Sub-Saharan Africa, a crossroads of geopolitical ambitions and cultural wealth, is increasingly important for Morocco. Over time, complex and robust historical ties have been woven, creating a dense web of cooperation. However, in the constantly evolving geopolitical landscape, new opportunities and challenges are emerging. Morocco is embarking on a bold transformation to redefine its engagement in Sub-Saharan Africa. The rapid evolution of Sub-Saharan Africa on the global stage and its economic transformation have revitalized the region. Countries once seen as mere trading partners have become major players on the international scene. Morocco is realigning its strategy to forge deeper and more strategic ties with the region.
Furthermore, Morocco also plans to play an active role in promoting peace and security in sub-Saharan Africa. By collaborating with governments and regional institutions, Morocco can contribute to the resolution of conflicts and the prevention of political instability, thereby creating an environment conducive to economic growth and regional integration. It is important to emphasize that Morocco's commitment to sub-Saharan Africa is part of a long-term vision of partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation. By strengthening economic, political and cultural ties with the region, Morocco aspires to build a common future based on shared prosperity and mutual respect.
