Abstract

This article explores in depth the political and strategic dimensions of Moroccan-African relations through the prism of history, diplomacy and economic initiatives. By highlighting Morocco's return to the African Union, its aspiration to integrate ECOWAS, and its growing economic footprint on the continent, we decipher Morocco's strategic vision in Africa. In addition, the article assesses Morocco's positioning in the face of the growing interest of world powers in Africa, notably Western powers, China, and other emerging powers. In conclusion, we summarize the main points of our analysis and project perspectives on future relations between Morocco and Africa. This work aims to provide a nuanced understanding of Morocco's ambitions and challenges in Africa in a constantly evolving geopolitical context.
