Social and united economy in prism of human development and of social entrepreneuriat: comparative approach between Morocco and France

Abstract

The emergence of the concept of the social and solidarity economy from sustainable development has led to a collective awareness of the importance of preserving the natural environment and biodiversity. Since the Earth Summit, the world has embarked on strategic actions aimed at returning to natural, organic practices and valuing human capital as a factor in the development and wealth creation. In this context, initiatives that combine social impact and the pursuit of economic productivity have gained importance, particularly in developing and emerging countries. This article, through a traditional literature review, compares the scope of the social and solidarity economy between Morocco and France and its impact on human development in light of social entrepreneurship. The social and solidarity economy, through social entrepreneurship, proves to be a fundamental pillar in the pursuit of inclusive and sustainable human development. In France, social entrepreneurship within the SSE has led to the creation of commercial enterprises focused on social utility. In Morocco, the SSE has been an effective tool in combating socio-economic disparities, particularly in rural areas and marginalized zones. It has promoted the economic and social empowerment of local communities, thus contributing to more harmonious and balanced development at the national level. The social and solidarity economy offers pragmatic and innovative solutions to contemporary socio-economic challenges while promoting social equity and inclusion. The examples of Morocco and France illustrate the versatility and effectiveness of the SSE in various contexts, highlighting its potential as a model for other nations pursuing similar human development goals.
