The link between health, safety and motivation at work: the case of Malian companies

Abstract

In today’s word, technological and industrial development requires companies to improve their health and safety conditions at work in order to protect workers from risks and dangers. Infect, the goal for all companies is to generate sources of motivation based on the satisfaction of workers’ needs. In order to explain the link between health and safety and motivation at work, this article recommended taking into account the “motivation” aspect based on the health and safety at work approach. Using the interpretivist posture, the qualitative method and through 13 semi-directive interviews with resource persons from two companies, rather, it has enable the emergence of health and safety practices at work which are most certainly sources of motivation for company employees.
