The impact of digital transformation on human capital practices and development

Abstract

The digital transformation of a company is the use of new technologies in the daily management of an organization to improve leadership and business performance. This is based on the premise that this digital transformation process will affect the entire organization, including the employees. Based on this observation, it is essential to study the impact of this technological revolution. Thus, the purpose of this article is to examine the impact of the introduction of new technologies on human capital management practices. On the other hand, the findings of this study show that digitization is the key to enable subordinates to interact with all members of the organization, provide real-time information, reduce costs and expenses and facilitate coordination and communication influencing the development of human capital. Facilitates the evaluation of employees and employee productivity.

This article is a narrative synthesis of knowledge and previous work to shed light on this topic.
