Abstract

This article takes the form of a literature review exploring the impact of digital transformation (DT) on organizational resilience (OR) within the context of international crises, notably current wars and an ever-evolving environment. DT has become a strategic imperative for organizations, enabling them to maintain competitiveness while posing challenges related to costs, infrastructure, and skills. Our study examines how DT enhances organizational resilience by focusing on organizations' capacities for absorption, renewal, and appropriation to overcome crises. We rely on a critical review of existing literature to highlight contextual, strategic, and cognitive factors influencing OR, as well as its application in Morocco. The analysis reveals that DT contributes to greater flexibility and productivity for businesses, thus enhancing their ability to cope with uncertainty. The article emphasizes that while digital transformation is essential for organizations, it requires clear operationalization to maximize its effects on organizational resilience. DT, by improving decision-making and remote collaboration, becomes a key lever of organizational resilience but requires appropriate skills and approaches to ensure business continuity.
