Identifying the Determinants of Resilience in Morocco: A Theoretical Model
Abstract
The study of organizational resilience is becoming increasingly crucial for the survival and development of organizations in a constantly evolving world. This concept refers to an organization's ability to withstand shocks, disruptions, and crises while maintaining its essential functions and learning from past experiences. Its value lies in its capacity not only to face difficulties but also to thrive despite challenging conditions.
Thus, we have examined various elements that contribute to organizational resilience, such as organizational culture, digital transformation, leadership, effective resource management, and more. These elements are interconnected and support each other in establishing a dynamic and continuous process that enables an appropriate response.
Companies that succeed in building and maintaining strong resilience are better prepared to face crises and thrive in a constantly changing environment. Additionally, we have examined the theories and models developed to understand organizational resilience, which provided us with a conceptual framework for our study. The main objective of this paper is to develop a theoretical model of organizational resilience by reviewing existing literature and integrating factors that are less mentioned in the literature, such as digital transformation and the role of macro-environment components.
