Study of the psychological profile of managers and its contribution to organizational resilience: A quantitative analysis of SMEs in the agribusiness sector in the city of Agadir
Abstract
This article explores in greater depth the links between leaders' psychological traits and the ability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Agadir's agri-business sector to meet challenges while maintaining organizational resilience. Through a quantitative methodology, part of a post-positivist approach, is based on a sample of 44 SMEs in the city of Agadir. The present study conclusively confirms a positive correlation between the psychological profile of managers and organizational resilience, based on the clinical studies carried out by Connor and Davidson (2003) on the profile of resilient individuals.
The results obtained support from previous hypotheses, reinforcing the theoretical foundations linking the psychological health of leaders to the robust resilience of organizations. The use of quantitative methods and an empirical approach reinforces the robustness of the findings, highlighting the importance of integrating empirical testing into the analysis of manager’s psychological profiles.
From an operational point of view, the article suggests major implications for corporate development. It advocates the implementation of leadership development targeting the psychological aspects of leaders, thus offering concrete avenues for strengthening management and organizational resilience. In sum, this article makes a significant contribution to the practical understanding of the crucial relationships between leaders' psychological profiles and organizational resilience, with reference to previous work.
