Sustainable Entrepreneurship: Delving into the Challenges and Potentials through the Lens of Climate Disruptions
Abstract
In the swiftly changing landscape of the 21st century, sustainable entrepreneurship emerges as a beacon for businesses in search of longevity and socio-environmental responsibility. This article offers a comprehensive theoretical analysis of sustainable entrepreneurship, drawing insights from a rich tapestry of literature in the field. At the heart of the discourse lies the profound influence of climate change and how it continually reshapes the entrepreneurial horizon.
The challenges confronting sustainable entrepreneurs are manifold. The literature clearly indicates that issues such as a lack of funding and inadequate public policies are frequent barriers. Moreover, the still immature market places a responsibility on companies to adhere to ecological practices. Furthermore, the very definition of sustainability remains fluid, complicating the standardization of practices and benchmarks.
This article highlights the delicate balance between the challenges and opportunities of sustainable entrepreneurship, suggesting a nuanced approach for future entrepreneurs. The overarching message is one of hope, interspersed with caution: although the path of sustainable entrepreneurship is fraught with obstacles, the rewards - both tangible and intangible - are vast for those who move forward with vision and resilience.
