Abstract

In an increasingly competitive environment, marked by a flow of changes at a sustained pace, any organization is forced to adapt to this myriad of changes, a sine-qua-none condition for its survival and development. Resource optimization is key to standing out in a bitter competitive bubble. A crucial issue for success, performance is proving to be a major objective towards which any organization continues to eye, despite the absence of a single and standard definition of this concept. The performance of HRM, an important and decisive component, is conditioned by a set of determinants as varied as they create value, framing the missions of this function. The correlation between the performance of HRM and its determinants leads to their optimization and the search for the appropriate combination, as well as the strategic arrangements and the mode of operation capable of maximizing performance and promoting efficiency. The empirical part constituted by the case study of the Ibn Tofail University of Kenitra only corroborated these results while highlighting its specificities in the matter, in this case the two-headed management of these determinants, shared between the supervisory ministry and the university.
