Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Human Resource Management Practices: A Literature Review
Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is the new normal. As everything is powered by AI these days, it has changed the way we live. The widespread use of AI in organizations and companies helps them streamline their processes, increase productivity, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. The integration of artificial intelligence into human resource management (HRM) practices are changing the way organizations appoint, manage and engage their staff. Artificial intelligence allows machines to make decisions more accurately than humans, based on existing data sets and behavioral patterns. This transformation has caused machines to take over all manual labor, leading HR professionals to take on more strategic roles. This research discusses the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into human resource management (HRM) practices through a systematic literature review approach. Involving analysis of multiple articles from various academic databases. The objective of this literature review is to analyze the progress of AI in the field of HR by focusing on academic research, in order to understand and explain the impact and benefits brought by AI in HRM and the challenges of its implementation
